Novartis plans active pharmaceutical ingredients facility in North Carolina

The 56,200-square-foot plant in Morrisville will produce ingredients for tablets, capsules and RNA therapeutics.
It is the seventh and final planned facility under the drugmaker's $23 billion US manufacturing investment announced last year.
The new site will become Novartis' fifth facility in North Carolina, spread across three locations in the state.
