Guinea plans second international internet link with Medusa consortium

The memorandum of understanding is due to be signed on 6 May, after the project was discussed at a cabinet meeting on 27 April.
The new link would give Guinea a second international connection after repeated disruptions on its sole existing Africa Coast to Europe, or ACE, cable.
The move aims to improve resilience in the country's internet infrastructure by reducing dependence on a single undersea cable for international connectivity.
