Nippon Gas reports FY2026 net profit of Y14.82 billion

For the year ended 31 March, revenue rose to Y208.48 billion from Y200.06 billion, while operating profit increased to Y21.28 billion from Y18.55 billion.
Pretax profit edged up to Y21.22 billion from Y18.58 billion, and earnings per share climbed to Y136.69 from Y104.46 under Japanese accounting standards.
The results add to a broader run of stronger annual earnings among Japanese gas utilities, after Hokkaido Gas earlier reported higher FY2026 profit and revenue.
