Street signs bearing slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s name appeared this week on All American Way near City Hall after a 4-1 council vote in November 2025.
Some Southern California residents, including protest organizer Terry Rains, expressed anger, calling the change divisive and unnecessary, while Mayor Chi Charlie Nguyen defended the move as a celebration of free speech.
