As of 4:00pm on April 29, all services, including Text-to-911, are operational again in Quincy, California.
The outage had temporarily disabled Text-to-911, but residents could still access emergency help via voice calls on cellular or landline phones.
The sheriff's office worked with Plumas-Sierra Telecommunications to resolve the issue and advised residents to use alternative emergency contact methods during the disruption.
