Kutryk will join NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov, launching no earlier than September 2026 for a six-month ISS stay.
He becomes the first Canadian Space Agency astronaut assigned to a long-duration ISS mission since 2018-19, following his reassignment from Boeing Starliner-1 due to program delays and a 2024 mishap.
