Kennedy faced criticism from Rep. Ayanna Pressley after his 2024 podcast remarks suggesting Black children could benefit from 're-parenting' at wellness farms.

Kennedy said the wellness farm idea was inspired by a family member's experience in Italy. Ocasio-Cortez also questioned Kennedy about administration reimbursements to UnitedHealthcare, currently under federal investigation for Medicare fraud.
