The study analyzed over 7,000 German adults aged 40–65, with follow-up on 3,000 participants after five years.
Women with the lowest BMI typically ate breakfast around 7:30 a.m. and maintained a 10.5-hour overnight fast, while delaying breakfast was associated with higher BMI.
