Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 will be on display with No. 4012 at Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on June 15 and 16, 2026, with timed reservations required.
Tens of thousands of visitors are expected, with additional viewing opportunities through June 30 as No. 4014 undergoes servicing. Two commemorative diesel locomotives and the Union Pacific Museum Experience car will also be featured during public display days.
The event marks part of No. 4014’s coast-to-coast tour celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, making Steamtown the only site to see both Big Boys together. Enhanced logistics and accessibility measures are planned to accommodate large crowds.
