Sigma Foods, a Mexican processed food company, has acquired Roger Wood Foods, a Georgia-based smoked meats producer with annual sales of about $50 million.
This marks Sigma’s first operation in the southeastern U.S. and adds a well-known regional smoked sausage brand to its U.S. portfolio.
Sigma Foods, formerly known as Alfa, operates across Mexico, the U.S., Europe, and Latin America, and reported $9.27 billion in sales in 2025.
