Executives revealed the loss during a first-quarter earnings call, after an arson destroyed a 1.2 million-square-foot Ontario, California warehouse on April 7.
Federal prosecutors charged Chamel Abdulkarim, 29, with arson, alleging he posted video of the fire on social media and made incriminating statements.
The blaze caused about $500 million in damage but resulted in no injuries. The revenue hit is expected to reduce Kimberly-Clark’s second-quarter organic growth by 0.7% to 0.8%.
