Japanese FX company Shirogumi confirmed the destruction of the Fox, Falco, Peppy, and Slippy puppets, citing deterioration of glued fur, feathers, and natural rubber.
The puppets, created for Nintendo’s first Star Fox game, were used in box art, print ads, and promotional materials before being discarded after production.
