Chipotle Mexican Grill appoints Fernando Machado as chief brand officer

Fernando Machado, formerly of Restaurant Brands International and Garnett Station Partners, will assume the role on June 1, 2026.
Machado will oversee global marketing, brand positioning, and customer engagement to drive innovation and growth. Chipotle also named Arlie Sisson as chief digital officer to advance digital strategy and operations.
CEO Scott Boatwright highlighted Machado's experience as key to elevating Chipotle's brand and guest loyalty. Sisson, previously at Hyatt Hotels, will report to Curt Garner, president, chief strategy and technology officer.
