Agarwal, former director of Naughty Dog's cancelled The Last of Us multiplayer game, said the project was about 80% finished when he learned of its cancellation just 24 hours before the public announcement.
He described the cancellation as "soul crushing" and thanked the Last of Us community for their support, promising never to let his work remain unreleased again.
