UFC fighter Tim Means arrested on child abuse charge in New Mexico

Means, 42, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque after an alleged altercation with a teenage girl at a Tijeras home.
According to a criminal complaint, Means allegedly headbutted, strangled, threw a potato at, and punched the teen, resulting in visible injuries including red marks and a bloody nose.
Means, a veteran mixed martial artist with a career spanning King of the Cage, Legacy FC, and UFC, is scheduled for a status hearing on May 26. The UFC has not yet commented.
