Azuna, founded by Scott Dancy in 2019, now employs 50 people and expects over $100 million in direct-to-consumer sales this year, including new distribution through Midwest grocer Fresh Thyme.
The company, which started with Dancy handling all operations, accelerated growth during the pandemic and has raised less than $10 million in investment, far less than typical competitors.
Azuna is the world’s largest buyer of Australian tea tree oil and is exploring institutional investment and major retail partnerships, with Dancy aiming to sell the business in about eighteen months.
