Earlier this month, Barsik the cat and Zagybluk the dog were flown 10 kilometers by drone after reaching a dangerous frontline position held by the brigade.
The animals were placed in breathable pouches and safely evacuated, with Barsik soon to reunite with his recovering soldier caretaker, while Zagybluk remains with troops at a rear position.
