US officials Witkoff and Kushner will participate in the second round of US-Iran peace talks in Islamabad, alongside Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, according to a US official.
The talks, facilitated by Pakistan, follow delays caused by President Trump's earlier naval blockade and are aimed at negotiating a ceasefire between the US and Iran.
Araghchi has also visited Oman and Russia for consultations, while EU officials warn the agreement could be weaker if broader regional issues are not addressed.
