Fox River Boat Crash Kills 1 as Police Hunt Passengers From Offending Boat

Summary
At least one person died after a boat crash on the Fox River in McHenry County on Saturday, prompting authorities to search for passengers from what officials called the offending boat.
Holiday Hills residents were urged to report anyone who appeared injured or out of place, after state Sen. Craig Wilcox said members of that boat might be on foot south of the McHenry Dam.
The McHenry County Sheriff's Office closed the river south of the dam for hours while investigators worked the scene, then later reopened the waterway.
Authorities initially released few details, but a later report said Richard Stevenson, 45, was charged with reckless homicide and aggravated DUI in the two-boat collision.
