Cache Valley’s Utah portion remains under a heat advisory until midnight MDT Monday, with highs reaching 100 degrees.
Lower to mid-70s overnight temperatures are expected to offer little relief, keeping HeatRisk in the red, or major, range through the weekend.
The advisory warns that prolonged heat can cause heat illnesses, especially during outdoor activity and work.
Officials urged residents to drink fluids, stay in air-conditioned spaces, avoid strenuous activity during peak heat, and call 211 for shelter help if needed.
