Eventio Launches Revamped AI Platform, Wins $100,000 Erie Fund Backing

$100,000 from the Erie Revitalization Fund accompanied Eventio’s relaunch of its AI-powered event-planning platform, giving the Erie startup fresh capital as it says the site is live and already has paying customers.
The revamped website now targets four user groups—professional planners, organizations, self-planners and vendors—broadening entry points for weddings, reunions, galas and other events through an AI copilot dashboard.
Erin Kerner said the new funding will be used to accelerate marketing, with early test markets in Erie, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia before a planned national and global expansion.
The investment adds to earlier Ben Franklin Technology Partners support of $75,000 in September 2024 and $10,000 in March 2024, underscoring local backing for a startup Kerner says could grow into a billion-dollar Erie business.
