Summary
$1.3 billion in planned enhancements and private investment will accompany a long-term extension that keeps the Panthers' home named Bank of America Stadium.
The 30-year-old Charlotte venue will add indoor-outdoor gathering areas, a 500-level social patio, larger scoreboards, upgraded seating, premium spaces and more personalized fan technology.
Exterior renovations also include upgraded materials and an illuminated crown designed to reshape the Uptown skyline while drawing on Carolinas-inspired design details.
The deal extends one of the NFL's longest naming-rights partnerships: Bank of America took over in 2004, and its ties to the franchise date to the Panthers' early-1990s founding.
The broader renovation push is expected to run through 2030 and is aimed at boosting Charlotte's appeal for marquee events such as a Super Bowl, NFL draft and the 2031 Women's World Cup.
