Summary
Newly released affidavits say five alleged accomplices helped fugitive murder suspect Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, hide Jason Coulthart’s body and evade Florida deputies for weeks.
Witness statements in the reports allege Johnson killed Coulthart, 43, with a zip tie, buried him in a shallow grave in Niceville and covered the body with cement after he was last seen alive on May 24.
Bobbie Gean Wagstaff, 31, is accused of helping dig the grave, while Martin and Sandra Leaverton allegedly drove Johnson between homes, sought out-of-state refuge and gave deputies false information.
Michael White and Kathleen Morris allegedly sheltered Johnson at two properties, supplied her and discussed her movements and backpacks in texts that referred to her by the alias “Harley.”
Coulthart’s remains were found June 25, and investigators say Johnson also used the names Jessica Elaine Bowman and Denise as the manhunt and accessory-after-the-fact case continue.
