Iowa Adds 600 June Jobs as 1,100 Private-Sector Gains Offset 500 Government Losses

Even with that revision, Iowa has added 6,100 jobs since December 2025, reversing the 1,100 jobs lost over the same span a year earlier.
Over 12 months, though, Iowa still lost 9,500 jobs—down 0.6% and ranking 46th among states—even as unemployment held at 3.2% and labor-force participation reached 67.3%.
