The set recreates the feel of Donkey Kong’s core action—timing, movement, and obstacle avoidance—but stops short of a full end-state where Mario ascends the structure and completes the rescue. In practical terms, Mario can be detached and manually placed near Pauline, but that is outside the built-in play function.
