Summary
Nearly five hours after being trapped inside a Rajasthan liquor store, a leopard was tranquillised, captured and later released back into the wild, local authorities said.
CCTV from July 20 showed the animal entering the shop and attacking a salesman after it had already attacked a cleaning worker inside.
The leopard then hid near the counter, allowing both employees to escape before others shut the store and sealed the animal inside.
The capture ended an unusual standoff in northwestern India without further injuries after the initial attacks.
