Lenovo has refreshed the 16-inch ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 with Intel’s 24-core Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12GB option, extending a model first launched more than a year ago.
The new top CPU should deliver a clear step up from the existing Core Ultra 7 255HX and Core Ultra 9 275HX, while Lenovo also added the lower-tier 18-core Core Ultra 7 251HX.
The RTX 5070 remains capped at 115W TGP but adds 50% more VRAM than the RTX 5060 configuration, a change likely to help in some games and higher graphics settings.
