Miami had deleted a similarly titled YouTube livestream late Tuesday after posting it by mistake; a Heat spokesperson said the team was preparing in case James signed and accidentally made the link public.
The gag quickly spread beyond hockey, with the Philadelphia Police Department also posting a mock news conference while fans filled the Jets chat with jokes such as "LeWinnipegJets" and "LeHockey."
