Summary
Three FA rule E3.1 charges were brought against Southampton head coach Tonda Eckert over alleged misconduct between December 2025 and May 2026.
The FA said Eckert directed and/or authorised observation of training sessions involving Oxford United, Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough before matches against Southampton.
A disciplinary commission had already found the spying was a "contrived and determined plan from the top down," and said it was authorised by Eckert when Southampton were expelled from the Championship play-offs in May.
Eckert has until next Tuesday to respond as the FA continues examining who took part in the spying and how much others at the club knew.
