Anthropic released a public beta that lets Claude Code Desktop open in-progress apps inside the iOS Simulator, then build, run, inspect and iterate on them live.
Direct simulator control lets Claude watch and interact with the app without using macOS computer-use tools, avoiding the Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions that mode requires.
Developers can keep using the iOS Simulator while Claude works, but the simulator pane is limited to local sessions on macOS and requires Xcode with the iOS platform installed.
