$1.1 billion in client assets moved with Chris Tiano and Nick Smith, whom Cresset Capital named managing directors and wealth advisors in Los Angeles and New York.
Cresset said the hires extend its recruiting push as the New York-based multi-family office, which oversees more than $250 billion, adds advisors serving ultra-high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs and business owners.
Tiano and Smith spent about two years at Lazard Wealth, where they advised on liquidity events, portfolio construction, estate planning, tax strategy and wealth transfer.
The additions fit a broader talent raid by Cresset, which has recently recruited advisors from RIAs and wealth units at Goldman Sachs and J.P.Morgan.
