Summary
First footage of Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster running on Nintendo Switch 2 showed a largely unchanged port with sharper resolution and added quality-of-life options.
Square Enix said the package includes high-speed mode, an option to disable random encounters, full HD visuals, remastered music and content from the International versions.
Over 100 combined hours of gameplay are included across Final Fantasy 10 and Final Fantasy 10-2, which return together in the same release.
The reveal came as Final Fantasy 10 marked its 25th anniversary after its July 19, 2001 PS2 debut in Japan, with Square Enix staging a commemorative event.
Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster reaches Switch 2 on July 23, extending Square Enix's recent run of native releases for Nintendo's new console.
