Registration opened July 21 for ALUTech, a free 12-week Israeli accelerator that will admit 10 startups building or adapting technology for autistic people and their families.
ALUT is using its access to tens of thousands of users and 50 years of clinical expertise to solve a key startup problem: limited real-world testing, validation and autism-specific guidance.
The program offers biweekly sessions with Autism Center specialists, pilot opportunities, direct feedback from autistic participants and accessibility experts, plus investor and industry introductions without taking equity or IP.
ALUT will initially steer startups toward three unmet-need areas: sensory-friendly environments, early detection of emotional distress and regulation support, and tools that help interpret social interaction and communication.
The launch comes as autism diagnoses in Israel are rising an estimated 18% to 20% annually; WHO estimates about 78 million people worldwide are on the spectrum.
