UK Employment Rises 148,000 to 34.475 Million as Jobless Rate Holds at 4.9%

Employment was 340,000 above a year earlier, supported by gains in both full-time and part-time work, while second-job holders rose to 1.278 million, or 3.7% of all employed people.
