Version 4.1.1.x of Snapseed Camera is rolling out widely on Android, adding geotagging and a new option to save original images for later re-editing.
A new "Location Metadata" toggle in Camera Settings is off by default and triggers Android's permission prompt when users enable it.
"Capture original for re-editing" is enabled by default, letting users keep the base image when shooting with Film Styles or Looks; the setting also lets them choose save locations and create Snapseed folders through the system file picker.
The update follows other recent camera additions such as grid lines and level tools, while Snapseed's larger release earlier this month expanded RAW editing support and added undo and redo in most tools.
