Don Lemon Likens MAGA to Nazis, Weighs 2028 White House Run

July 15 podcast remarks put Don Lemon back in the political spotlight after he called MAGA "the closest thing to the modern version of the Nazi Party" and said he may run for president in 2028.
Lemon said Trump supporters are driven by "White supremacy" and "power," not grocery prices, and argued the U.S. has "careened into fascism" under Trump.
A White House statement hit back immediately, with spokesman Davis Ingle calling Lemon a "low ratings loser" and dismissing his comments as "Trump Derangement Syndrome."
On a possible campaign, Lemon said he has already talked with political veterans and would prefer a small-dollar model built on $5 and $10 donations.
Lemon also revived his dispute with CNN over his 2023 exit, alleging he was pushed out as "the gay Black guy"; CNN said the decision was unrelated to race or sexual orientation.
