Online voting is now open for Indiana Grown’s fourth annual Indiana’s Ultimate Farmers Market Challenge, with residents choosing a favorite from more than 50 nominated farmers markets statewide.
Aug. 5 is the voting deadline, and Indiana Grown plans to announce the winner on Aug. 8.
Caroline Patrick, the program’s director, said the contest is meant to help Hoosiers support local markets while highlighting farmers and producers selling Indiana-grown products.
The challenge also underscores the broader role of farmers markets in local commerce and community connection across Indiana.
