Service Canada released 2026-2027 payment schedules for CPP, OAS, GIS and the Canada Disability Benefit, with CPP/OAS/GIS deposits continuing in the final week of each month and CDB paid on the third Thursday.
CDB now pays up to C$204.20 a month for July 2026-June 2027 after a 2.1% inflation adjustment, while more than 600,000 eligible Canadians aged 18 to 64 receive the benefit.
CPP benefits in pay rose 2.0% in January 2026, lifting the maximum age-65 retirement pension to C$1,507.65; OAS for ages 65-74 reached C$751.97 for July-September after a 1.2% quarterly increase.
GIS maximums also rose 1.2%, taking the single-recipient top-up to C$1,123.17 and pushing combined OAS-plus-GIS support for a low-income single senior to about C$1,875 a month.
The guide also flags key timing rules: December pension payments arrive early on Dec. 22, tax filing by April 30 is critical to avoid GIS or CDB disruptions, and 2027 dates remain subject to official confirmation.
