Five relatives who set out Friday from Sunglow Campground near Bicknell were found dead after a flash flood tore through a southern Utah canyon.
Heavy rain is believed to have triggered the flooding, with deputies first called late Friday after a young male's body was found in the flood wash; the other four bodies were recovered late Friday and Saturday.
Provo Fire Department identified one victim as Capt. Spencer Long and said his wife Katrina and their three sons also died, while a daughter who was not on the trip survived.
Tributes spread across the community as a GoFundMe was launched to support the surviving daughter and Katrina Long's medical spa mourned the loss of the family.
