Tuesday's East Village brawl sent a Mercedes driver to a local hospital in stable condition after a skateboarder struck him in the head with a board and put him in a chokehold, police said.
The fight began when the driver tried to park in a street spot the skateboarder and a friend were allegedly holding for someone else, according to the New York Post and an NYPD spokesman.
Video of the clash shows the skateboarder hitting the SUV with the board, throwing it at the vehicle, then smashing the windshield before the sidewalk fight escalated.
The skateboarder left the scene and remained at large as of Saturday afternoon, while police said no arrests had been made.
