Tredyffrin Township police were called to Saquon Barkley’s Malvern home around 5:10 a.m. Saturday for a reported burglary, but the suspects had already fled.
Barkley and his family were not harmed, and detectives are now seeking information about a vehicle that may be tied to the break-in.
The township police detective division is leading the case with help from the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, while asking the public to identify those involved.
The burglary adds to a recent run of incidents in which authorities have examined possible targeting of professional athletes’ homes.
