A Ryzen 5 5600 and RTX 3070 gained nearly 40% over the very high preset at 1440p using optimized settings with DLSS quality and enhanced ray tracing.
High BVH, medium-to-high geometry and loading distance, and trimmed water, shadow and light settings delivered most of the uplift, while medium textures were recommended for 8GB VRAM cards.
Extended RT gave the biggest visual boost by adding ray-traced specular reflections to water and wet surfaces, while standard RT remained the performance sweet spot and ran 11% faster than the high preset.
PC support was otherwise strong, with roughly 90-second shader pre-warming, broad upscaling and frame-generation options, and dynamic resolution scaling that helped keep frame rates above 60fps.
Minor bugs still remain — 30fps cutscene caps in custom modes, frame-pacing issues from the limiter, and an upscaling preset bug that can drop resolution below 100%.
