Rockstar Opens GTA Online to PS5 Players Free Until July 20, 2026

July 20 is the cutoff for a free-access window that lets PS5 players use GTA Online without a PlayStation Plus subscription.
Rockstar tied the offer to The Kortz Center Heist update, which adds a new art-theft heist, new vehicles and Mission Creator changes.
Current-generation Xbox players also can join without Xbox Game Pass Essential during the same weeklong promotion.
The update is widely seen as one of GTA V's last major GTA Online expansions before Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026, initially without an online mode.
