Summary
VideoCardz reported Intel plans to brand Nova Lake desktop chips as Core Ultra Series 400, with the top 52-core DS model arriving between late May and September 2027.
The rollout would start earlier with a 28-core DS package in January-March 2027, followed by 28-core unlocked K chips in March-April and 16-core and 8-core parts from late March to May.
That 52-core flagship is said to pair 16 Coyote Cove P-cores, 32 Arctic Wolf E-cores and 4 LPE cores—more than double the 24 cores in the current Core Ultra 9 285K.
The leak also points to a broader platform shift: DDR5-8000, up to 24 PCIe 5.0 lanes, Thunderbolt 5, Xe3 Celestial graphics, an NPU5, and a new LGA1954 socket that would likely require new motherboards.
