Summary
SEK 68.393 billion in Q2 order bookings more than doubled from SEK 28.403 billion, driven by a SEK 47 billion submarine order from Poland booked during the quarter.
Sales rose to SEK 25.453 billion, with organic growth of 29.8%, as Saab said demand stayed high and customers kept investing in both immediate and long-term defense needs.
Profitability strengthened alongside that growth: EBIT climbed 41% to SEK 2.794 billion, the EBIT margin widened to 11.0% from 10.0%, and net income increased to SEK 2.17 billion.
Cash flow also improved, with operational cash flow at negative SEK 62 million versus negative SEK 1.136 billion a year earlier, while net liquidity stood at SEK 2.523 billion.
Saab also created a new Naval business area in the quarter, underscoring a broader push to expand capacity and meet rising defense demand.
