Google Readies 4-Way Gemini Voice Controls in App 17.41.12 Beta

Google app 17.41.12 beta contains strings pointing to Gemini voice customization across four settings: Energy, Formality, Warmth and Speed.
Three of those controls—Energy, Formality and Warmth—appear set to low, medium and high, while Speed would offer slow, normal and fast options.
The selected voice settings are expected to carry across both Gemini Live and the regular chat experience, though Google has not announced the feature.
The move would extend Google’s recent Gemini voice updates after I/O, where it also said regional dialect support is coming, as Apple’s iOS 27 adds similar Siri tuning.
