Summary
Aston Martin revealed the Dreadnought, a fantasy military SUV created for Call of Duty, with a full-size model now on display at Fanatics Fest in New York through the weekend.
The concept exists only in the game franchise’s world, but Aston framed it as a V12 machine blending supercar performance, armor technology and combat-zone intelligence into one vehicle.
Design cues still tie it to the brand: a front end recalling older V8 Vantage models, matte British Racing Green paint, a ducktail rear and a luxury cabin trimmed in carbon fiber and Oxford Tan leather.
Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman said he imagined the SUV driving in New York and Mumbai, pitching it as an exaggerated but unmistakable Aston Martin.
The collaboration marks an unusual turn for a marque better known for sleek road cars, reviving a kind of game-brand tie-up last seen when Call of Duty partnered with Jeep on a special Wrangler in 2012.
