Summary
Nearly 736,000 Pillsbury frozen bread rolls are being pulled after an FDA notice said the products may contain glass, with General Mills having initiated the recall on June 19.
The recall covers 554,400 Hard Roll Dough units and 181,440 Kaiser Roll Dough units, both sold in bulk cases mainly to commercial food-service customers rather than individual shoppers.
19 states received the affected products, including California, Florida, New York, Texas and Washington, and operators were told to check inventory for use-by dates of Oct. 12 or Oct. 13, 2026.
Glass-related food recalls have surfaced repeatedly this year, including Ajinomoto frozen foods in March and Aldi's crème brûlée dessert in May.
