Summary
More than 30 million people and 600,000 organizations now use Google’s renamed Gemini Notebook, the company said as it folded NotebookLM further into its Gemini AI lineup.
Native code execution is the main new feature, letting users run data analysis directly inside notebooks using only the research material collected there.
Google also said notebooks will soon move into AI Mode in Search, extending the tool beyond its standalone app and tightening links with the broader Gemini ecosystem.
The rebrand follows April’s integration of NotebookLM into the Gemini app and underscores Google’s push to consolidate AI products under one Gemini brand.
