RayNeo did top Q1 2026 shipments in the AR display-glasses niche, with 23.7% share by volume, helped by lower-cost models such as the Air 4 Pro. But that does not mean it still owns the “best budget buy” title in editorial rankings. On that front, pressure is real. A major review outlet updated its list on July 10 and replaced the RayNeo Air 4 Pro with XREAL’s a01+ as its top budget pick at the same $299 price, citing a brighter image and stronger overall quality. That is a meaningful signal because RayNeo’s value case depends not just on low price, but on offering the best performance at that price. Even so, RayNeo remains highly competitive. The Air 4 Pro still offers dual micro-OLED panels, HDR10 support, 120Hz refresh, Bang & Olufsen-tuned speakers, and a lightweight design at $299, with discounts pushing it lower. It also remains much cheaper than higher-end rivals such as the VITURE Beast and XREAL One Pro, which cost hundreds more. So the picture is mixed: RayNeo is no longer the uncontested editorial favorite in the budget segment, but it is still one of the strongest value options and remains a volume leader in its category.
